OUR ORIGINS

Our journey began when in 2021 when we decided to open a Christmas Tree farm in Remington, Indiana.  The original plan was to create handmade crafts and candles to sell at local markets, helping us to pay for the new trees every year.  6 months into that process, we decided to add small-batch soaps, lip balms, and a wide variety of body care products such as lotions, sugar scrubs, whipped soaps, and more.  The feedback and success of our candle, soap, and body product line were overwhelming and inspirational.  This led us to create the Torch & Tallow brand in June of 2022. We started small, selling items at small farmers' markets in Rensselaer and Remington, Indiana.  We expanded to larger festivals in the area, giving us enough hope to open our online store. This year, we are looking to expand our farmers' market presence to include Lafayette, and West Lafayette, Indiana.  If you're local to the area, please stop by and see us and introduce yourself, we can't wait to meet you!
